Harper's Bazaar Content Analysis
December '12/ January '13
In the January edition, I found 6 ads and 9 editorials using sheer garments on their models.
I think the sheer trend was not as prevalent in this edition of Harper's because it was still winter when it was released. Although the spring trends had already been revealed to the public, the editorials in the magazine were of what celebrities might have worn in months prior to the release of this edition and photo shoots that better suited clothes for winter weather. The content of this edition did not focus on the spring season just yet.

February '13
In the February edition, I found only 2 ads using sheer garments and one lengthy editorial.
Although there were very few instances of sheer in this edition, the ads and editorials that were previewed prepared the viewer for a taste of spring and summer. The garments shown seem better suited for warmer weather. I think that there were fewer ads in this edition showing sheer because the industry was preparing more for the upcoming Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and wanted to focus more on what they would be showing in New York City.

March '13
In the March addition, I found about 19 ads and 26 editorials using sheer garments.
I think there were so many ads and editorials in this edition because Mercedes Benz Fashion Week had just concluded and the magazine wanted to include the ad campaigns from all of the designers that has just had their shows. Also, March is right at the start of spring and this is the edition that will be getting every one ready for what to expect to see in stores. This edition claims to be the "Big Fashion Issue" so it included bits and pieces of all of the top designers who incorporated sheer into their collections.

April '13
In the April edition, I found 7 ads and 10 editorials using sheer garments.
I feel that this edition of Harper's had a decent amount of pictures with elements of sheer in them. Since it was the spring issue, everyone should now be aware of all of the spring trends and may not feel the need to advertise it as much since it is now the middle of spring. At this point, sheer is not really new to the season and consumers have probably already went out bought all of their sheer garments for the spring.
