Silk Organza is a sheer, lightweight fabric made of silk yarn. The silkiness of the fabric gives it its sheen.
Sheer Georgette
Georgette is another lightweight fabric, slightly heavier than Chiffon more opaque. The fabric is usually used in loose fitting clothes, great for draping and has a sort of grainy feel. It is somewhat transparent.
Tulle
Tulle is a fine, lightweight material with a mesh effect to it. Tulle can be made out of silk giving it a much softer look and feel. It is most often used in wedding veils, gowns, and in ballet.
Silk Chiffon
Silk Chiffon is also lightweight and sheer. It is a great fabric for draping. The fabric is soft and see through and very durable.
Polyester
Polyester is a synthetic fabric used to make Chiffon and Georgette. It is inexpensive and durable. It is also lightweight, partially sheer, and washable.
